Waynesville -.Last 2.weeks in May

Finally got some rides in!

Blue Ridge to Great Smokey Mountains to the border with Tennessee 

Saw a couple Elk along the way

 

Another ride brought us past a firefighter training location.

That orange spot is the fiire

Headed to the Rattler ride on 209 towards Hot Springs

Made it to the Trust General Store

And the Bridge of Madison County.  Get a room guys!

Next ride we go up to the Cradle of Forestry with our friends Ken and Carol from AZ who are visiting for the Summer.

A busy 2 weeks!

1st 2 weeks May - Back in Waynesville NC

He 1st couple weeks back to NC were spent 

sprucing up our site 

We were surprised to see the Rhododendron out

The roses are spectacular this year

Got my vegetable garden started

I snuck in the small walkway I wanted when Gary wasn't looking.  He has to admit it looked good.

When we ran out of work we cleaned the site of a friend whose partner died over the winter.  The site hasn't been worked on since the Flood.

We even squeezed in a ride to check out the Parkway
