We arrive at the Farm and they are logging - we encounter Swamp Mats
at the entry. They protect the ground near the culvert from the logging trucks.

Back home!
They put in a new road to take the logs out from the hill
It is a pretty good size
The logs are stacked at the top of the hill outside the woods.
Some of these logs are 60' long.
It is interesting to see them load the trucks. There are 2 Amish guys doing all the cutting and loading. They get here before sunrise and leave by 3 pm.
They left early in the morning on Thursday because that is the day the Amish have their weddings.
8 logs and the truck is overloaded.
They were cutting down a big tree by our friends pet cemetery. Gary was up there and pointed it out to the loggers - they protected the headstones from the falling tree.
Timber!
The trees go down
Gets dragged out of the woods
and Loaded on the trucks - the beds are 53' long
The last load going out
The Hawk is still around
and a few songbirds
Tucson loves the Farm
We do too but it's time to move on and a beautiful day to hit the road.
