Tucson - 1st Week in February

Can't believe it is February already!

Tucson missed his Sunday Morning trip to the Dog Park so I took him out
on the Wash Trail when we got back.  I was surprised that he wanted to go down into the wash  and started down but saw a dog loose so decided to go back up the the trail.  I saw the dog further down the trail and zoomed in and saw him guarding this man that was down in the wash.

I wasn't about to go down into the wash to investigate so I headed back home and  called 911.  They came and then called that they didn't see anyone.
So I walked back down to point it out.  But he and the dog were gone
They went down to the spot I had seen him and walked around a bit but found nothing.
Guess he must be a regular because I saw him on my way back in the morning walk on a 45 degree morning

We are invited to a Superbowl Party at the Ramada so I make a Pan Pizza and Wings the day before since we probably won't get any game day - just Brisket, Pulled Pork and Dungeoness Crab Mac and Cheese

Superbowl time.  A Tarp was put up to block the wind
 It's a nice area for a party - about 20 people
 and a  ton of food
Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers on the grill

and the Brisket and Pulled Pork
a nice fire to take off the chill
 Yum!
and then topped off with a Birthday Cake

Will need lots of walks in the Wash to work this off!  The Coyotes have been really active this week.  One day no sooner had we gotten down into the wash when a group of them started howling.
Made a Bee Line to the other side and saw them just up the wash.

The group of 4 continued up the wash.

Seems like their is plenty of food in the wash.

The next day they were running up and down this bank even when there were cars and people milling about

We got back to the gate one day and a woman from the park was walking from Golf Links Road direction carrying her Fox Terrier and a coyote was casually walking 6 feet behind them.  When they got to our group and it saw Tucson - it headed down into the wash.

The end of the week gets downright chilly
