Tucson - Last week in February

Cant' believe February is gone already.  Gary has been going stir crazy so we head into town for a bit.

The Rattlesnake Bridge - haven't gotten to ride our bikes over it this year and make the tail rattle

Hadn't visited the Southern Arizon Transportation Museum so we stop there.
Full of memorabilia

and the Southern Pacific Locomotive #1673.  It was built as a coal burner in November 1900 by Schenectady Locomotive Works in New York and  converted to an Oil Burner in 1906-  Retired in 1955, it appeared in the Movie Oklahoma

We enjoyed daily airshows over the RV Park

and Tucson helped me defrost the Freezer

We took a drive down to Madeira Canyon
and took a short hike

and checked out the Birds.  Not too may to see -
a Hawk flew by just as we got there.

The mountains are beautiful here too
Time to work on some more "rock" painting.  Have always wanted to paint a scalloped brick border as flower pots.

Looking forward to March - getting the itch to get back on the road!
