January in Jekyll Island

Well since I am playing catch up with this Blog I will condense each month here on Jekyll Island

So here goes the rest of January

Across from the campground entrance is the road that goes to Clam Creek Picnic Area and Fishing Pier.  It's a nice walk about 1.5 miles.  The road is lined with Live Oaks draped in Spanish Moss.

There is a holding area for the horses you can ride on the Beach

Tucson makes friends

Nice to see the Bait shop has a sense of humor

There are Pelicans and Dolphins

and then there are the big ships that come through

A nice place to catch the sunset too!

The bike trail goes from the Pier through the Salt Marsh so I decide to see where it goes.

Past an Egret

 and a bunch of Juveniles

Must be a popular Teen Hang-out

 Some interesting trees

I think it should have been named Oyster Creek

February is just around the corner!
