Trip West - Winter Haven RV Park - Week 2

The Moon is still out this morning when I take Tucson for his walk

Looks like it is going to be another beautiful day
Today I spot the Hawk on top of a light fixture in a neighboring parking lot.
He keeps an eye on Tucson and Me.

 He is a handsome devil
When we return, Tucson spotted this woodpecker on the tree across from us.
Before it gets too hot we decide to try out the Bike Loop across the Wash.  We are in between to access points.  The only one we can get to from the Park is on Golf Links Rd.  It is a short ride along the path by the Wash behind the RV Park.
Then another short stint along Gold Links Rd
 to the Access point.
Today we head North.
It is a beautiful bike path.  At one point Gary's chain came off.  It was only a minute or two before someone stopped to help.  While he helping two retired police officers on bike patrol stopped to make sure we were okay too.  We were able to continue on instead of turning back.  Next time we will be sure to have our tools on board.
Commemorative tree parks are designed to address multiple community needs: environmental restoration, flood and erosion control and stormwater runoff reduction, beautification, carbon sequestration, reduction of the urban heat island effect.

Garden of the Winter Solstice: 80 commemorative trees were planted in 2016-2017

Garden of the Masks: 70 commemorative trees were planted in 2014-2015

Saw this Roadrunner on our final stretch back home
A view of the RV Park across the Pantano Wash
 There's home!
Lunch and then a well deserved trip to the Pool
Later we  headed to the Road House Cinema for Dinner and a Movie with our friends Marcia and Cliff
Reclining seats with swivel tables are quite comfy
Enjoying a great salad and Margarita during the Show - Harriet - Great flick!
We will be back to this place!
