Our 10 days is coming to an end. We did a short drive to the Historic BigWinnie General Store and Campground in hopes that they would have ice cream. It was quite a disappointment
So we drove another 18 miles to the nearest DQ.
Tucson was ok with that.

We enjoy some campfires
and a glass of wine
(from the Jerry Fallwell collection - Gary just watched me drink it)
Gary helped a camper back in in the rain.
Tucson loves his yard - can you find him?
During the week there are only maybe a dozen campers
The mosquitos weren't big but there were a lot of them!
We had a big thunderstorm and wind storm, Tucson snuggled up on the couch
Left behind one of my Be Kind rocks
We loved our stay here looks like the ants do too
The weekend comes and our 10 days end so we head to another Boondockers Welcome property down the road from Gull Lake. A lovely spot with 30 amp electric and water.

A nice place to curl up with a book
Even nicely mowed paths around the property to walk Tucson
One night we enjoyed a campfire with our hosts,
friends of theirs and a fellow boondocker.
It was an enjoyable place to spend Labor Day Weekend, our hosts were very accommodating and helpful. Next stop Gull Lake Recreation Area USACE campground 1.5 miles down the road.
