Tucson - 1st 2 weeks in December

Started out the month with a rattlesnake viewing, fortunate for us, small and dead.

Put to use the socks my friend Patti got me.

By making a couple Garden plate flowers

on the road 7 weeks and 7 dimes found

The upholstery in the camper that looked brand new when we bought it is disintegrating under constant use.

Fortunately I found some slip covers on Amazon that match and fit.
It gets sunny and warm enough to bake some carrot cake loaves in the Sun Oven

Gary's great grandson ended up in the hospital with a respiratory illness and pneumonia, but several prayer chains worked and he said "I got this!"

The Chrisrmas Fire Truck made it's  annual visit to the Park.

Even the storage compartments are decorated

Santa came too.

and the residents decorate too.

Some stormy weather

But it's worth it for the rainbow!

We take a drive to Agua Caliente Park to check out the damage caused by a lightening strike fire.

Fortunately it was contained to a group of palms by the entrance.

Around 40 palm trees had to be removed due to safety concerns or because they were too charred to recover. The others are being monitored in hopes they will recover.

Temps turn cold!

No pool for me for awhile!
