Waynesville, NC - October 2023

 We start with a beautiful day to walk around Lake Junaluska.  Fall is in the air.

A visit from a swallowtail butterfly caterpillar 

Another Fall craft show and sale at the campground.

Did really well.  Put some I didn't sell in the campground store.

Saw these Elk at a church sale we went to

Some final rides.

To the car show in Cherokee

Then into Junie Wank Falls

A stop for lunch

And the home stretch

Gary had a follow up for his knee replacement surgery in Asheville, we decided to take the scenic route via the Blue Ridge Pkwy home.

Came across these two young bears trying to cross over to their mom.

The colors are peaking 

Then the color changes to white

I promised Tucson if we ever came to somewhere with snow on the ground, I would let him play in it 

A wonderful birthday dinner for Gary with friends at the Ascot Club.

One last trip to Dollywood for the Fall Great Pumpkin Luminights.

And one las Winngray Cookout.  It was a great season!

Time to load up the Winter home!

And our 1st destination -where we workcamped 5 years ago.  Friends went here who renovated a 38' catamaran are docked in St. Augustine and we wanted to catch up before they set sail again 

Gary discovered at our last stop that the weld on the bike rack was failing.  Thankfully we made it here and one of our friends is a welder!

Had a great time visiting with our friends so I forgot to get pictures.  And they repaired the bike rack better than new!

The adventure continues!
