The Mass Pike is a bumpy ride and we find out that they have done way with the toll booths. If you don't have a transponder they take a picture of your license plate and bill you. You have no idea how much it is going to be.
We arrive at Old Chatham Road RV Park in Dennis. It is an older park taken over by Encore Resorts. The sites are very small. This was the original site we were supposed to get - note that the slide of the neighbor extends over the patio.
We were able to get this spot instead which was nice for the 1st 4 nights when we had no neighbor.
Our first day I take Gary to one of my favorite breakfast places - The Red Cottage
The food is still good and they have gluten free english muffins!
A quick run on the beach for Tucson
Then we stop at one of my favorite places - the Brewster Gristmill
Besides the Mill it is known for its Herring Run.
When they are running in early Spring the place is filled with seagulls going after the herring. It is fairly quiet today.
Next Stop is an old favorite beach - Paines Creek
The tide is out.
I take Gary to see my Mom's old House and Cottages. They are now condos.
The main house hasn't changed much.
The cottages have been cleaned up
It was a nice day down Memory Lane
