Guilford Lake - Jim's Birthday

It is Jim's 80th birthday and he wanted to see a little league game but the kids are finished for the season so we head to Akron to do a minor league game.

We start out at the Akron Museum of Modern Art with Jean, Jim and Marsha.

The Ice Cream cone is made of tire rubber - Akron was known for the Rubber Industry.
 French fries for vegetable haters.

This is made all from aluminum liquor bottle caps.

They were setting up for a wedding in the lobby

Outside it was a beautiful day.
Jim's Son met us and we went for his Birthday dinner at Bricco's

Great company and great food

I tried my hand at water color and painted the Barn on the Farm for Jim.
It was our view from the back window of the RV

Time for the game!

Our seats were in the sun so we relocated to shady seats in hopes that no one will kick us out.

I spotted this dish of ice cream that a young couple was scarfing down.  We heard it had around 10 scoops of ice cream.

We left before the finish of the game - it was slow going.  The score was 2-1 Akron when we left - final score was 4-1
