Waynesville, NC - August

 Have been very negligent in updating the Blog so will cram what I can in for August

The month starts out rainy

 

Glad we are in a camper on top of a hill

 

The best part of rain - is rainbows! 

 

We do the 1st Friday Art Walk

 
Music and dancing

 
and Art Gallerys open  with music and libations

 
Nicer weather to walk around Junaluska Lake 


and a swim

 
Finished my plate flowers


and another Owl for Gary's daughter

Dog Days of Summer with Pet Costume Party



And Gary's Daughter and Grandson came to visit

We went to Soco Falls a short steep hike down with ropes

Mingo Falls - over 200 steps up to the Falls


 
A play at the local Theatre - The Book of Will

Great Smoky Mountain NP 

We caught the view while the kids hiked up to the Top of Clingmans Dome

Oconaluftee Visitors' Center

 
Mingus Mill

 
A Sunset at Water Rock Knob and the kids hike up to the top - been there, done that!
