Decided to head over to the Francis Mill for a bluegrass concert
Francis Mill was built in 1887, The mill remained in operation for nearly 90 years. It fell into disrepair in the 1970's. Restoration was begun in 2004.
William Francis completed its construction. To this date, it remains in the ownership of Francis descendants. It operated until 1976, and then began to fall into disrepair.
The Francis Grist Mill was built in 1887 to grind corn and wheat for the local neighborhood of Francis Cove located in Haywood County, NC.

Went back up to the Mill with Gary, Pat watched our seats.
The Mill received recognition by, and was inducted into the National Register of Historical Places in June 2013.
