January Week 2

Started out the week with another hike in the desert

That's Kitt Peak observatory on the mountain
Then we got invited to our friends Dan and Earlene's house for a Fish Fry and Margaritas
Delicious Fried Perch from Lake Erie!
and then we were treated with a beautiful sunset

The next day we biked 16 miles to work off all that good food and Margaritas.  A group of about 12 of us went.
We did the Julian Wash Greenway from Kolb Road

 It's a very pretty ride
With views of Desert and Mountains

Crossing roads was pretty safe and we only had to do a 1-2 mile stretch on the road itself
We turned around after 8 miles as I had a hair appointment.  The rest of the group went 15 miles before turning around.   The Loop goes around Tucson over 100 miles
Just when you thought it was safe

Fortunately we got across the tracks before the train got there.

Some mighty big solar panels but not much sun today which was perfect for a bike ride.
My sister came to town to stay in the RV while we go to St .Croix
We went into town to do the Turquoise Trail
I was surprised to see the complex where the visitor's center used to be was closed.

We continued on the Turquoise Trail

A really nice dinner at Cafe A La C'Art

Next Stop St Croix!
