Oregon Coast - Cape Perpetua

Check out time isn't until one so we back track to Cape Perpetua  the largest forested headland projecting into the Pacific Ocean on the central Oregon Coast.

We stop to check out the Spouting Whale in Yachats.

Again the trail is really nice
A view down into the Devil's Churn
 A walk though old forest
 Many trees have washed ashore
Delicate Lupine are blooming even in this harsh environment

A view of Thor's Well and the Spouting Horn

On the way back I spot this lone Iris

We meet a Ranger and Tucson gets some tips on becoming a U.S. Forest Service Dog

Love this little camper in the parking lot
It starts to rain again as we head up to Newport
 Sorry!  Alaska is closer
