Trip West - Maggie Valley - 1st Week Sept.

Ida passed through and Jonathan Creek is running high.  Y
ou can see the trail of leaves it left as it receded.

We take a drive into Bryson City to check it out

The Swain County Heritage Museum

We wanted to go o the Fly Fishing Museum but our timing as usual was off and it was closed.

Gary did find a fly fishing shop and booked us a guide for next week.

The Tuckasegee River

Not much to do in Bryson City as I can tell other than the Scenic Railroad.

We stop for ice cream.

Meanwhile back at the Park there was a gathering for Labor Day with Hamburgers, Hotdogs and dishes to pass..  Also the biggest campfire I've ever seen!

Finally finshed the jigsaw puzzle to find it was missing 2 pieces.

Only a couple more weeks left here.  Sad, we really love the area.
