We head out of New Orleans and cross a long bridge - not the Pontchartrain Bridge which is 23 miles long - but long enough at 3 miles
Soon we find long white beaches in Christian Pass and pull over to let Tucson run to his hearts content

We decide to pull over and tour the Jefferson Davis Home

A small out building can be rented for $250 a night. Not bad considering an RV site in the French Quarter goes for $125.

The ceilings were hand painted by artists in the same method as the Sistine Chapel. It is all flat the illusion of depth in the fruit and face Is Trompe L'Oeil
The door to Winnies bedroom is painted to look like Oak so he could have the prestige of having oaks doors without the cost and maintenance

The back porch gives access to two other bedrooms, the kitchen and dining room
