We leave Alabama and arrive in Florida
Over the bridge by Pensacola
Looks like we are back in civilization
Needing a place for the night and if RV parks aren't full, they are $70 a night so we find a Walmart in Panama Beach City where there is also a dog friendly section of beach
Tucson leads the way of course.
Tucson loves the beach and making new friends
and he finds a pink football
We continue on down the road
Apalachicola is a possible place to layover
The lot is filled with American Oyster Catchers
Looks like they have some competition
This boat hand keeps an eye on Tucson
It's a cute little town with shops and restaurants and some historic buildings. Apalachicola had a huge Sponge fishing industry from the mid 1870's to the early 1920's
A nice park by the water
I'm told if you don't like oysters, the red snapper is pretty good.
More water to cross
I want to check out Cedar Key on the Gulf side of Florida for a possible place to spend the winter.
Lots to see and do in the area
We don't stay long because we are precariously parked in town - I don't recommend taking a large motor home or 5th wheel to town.
Looks like our next stop will be Brooksville, FL where we are staying a week at an Escapee's affiliate park with a 50% discount.
