We leave Willis Creek and head back down Skutumpah Road
This time we run into some free range cows crossing the road
Tucson gives them a talking to
A beautiful view on the return trip, you can see the road ahead
We finally make it back to pavement
Oops, I knew the Arches were 11 miles past Kodachrome Basin State Park, didn't know it was dirt road!
Might be a long 11 miles
The colors change along the way

What goes up must come down
and then go up again in Utah
Why am I not comforted by the Mud guard rail?
We make it down and finally make it to our turn off
We made it!
It's a short .2 mile hike up to the Arch
Flying Monkey from OZ or an Archangel?
The “arch” is actually two arches, which rise 150 feet above the ground. The largest of the two arches is almost 100 feet in diameter.
The arch was named in honor of National Geographic Society president Gilbert Hovey Grosvenor, the first full-time editor of the National Geographic magazine.
Time to head back home.
Guess we won't continue on the road we came in on
This looks better
This time I get the side with the view. Still not liking the Mud guard rails
Gary pulls over so I can get some pictures of the views.
It's a bit windswept out here
But the view is incredible
We continue on and eventually make it back to the paved road.
We stop in the town of Tropic for Dinner before going home
Another great day. Time is running out though - only 10 days left1
