I see on the free campsites website that there is a free campground run by the Lions on Burns Lake so we stop there. The campground was up a hill at the end of the park. Gary pulled into one of the pull thrus and I took Tucson for a walk through the Park.
They had a really nice fitness park - with over 2 dozen different exercise machines. I did the complete tour
We decided it was too early to pull over - especially with no hookups. Gary started to pull out and found the turn was going to be too tight and then ended up having to back down all the way. Glad he was driving! The predicaments I put that poor man through!
Tucson decided to take a nap.
Gary being the avid flyfisherman I had to have him stop at the visitor's center in Houston to see the worlds largest Fly Rod.
I've mapped out our stop here at Fort Telkwa RV park
It is apparently home to world class steelhead fishing in the Fall. People come from all over the world to catch and release.
A nice site above the Bulkley River
There is a gated walk along the river to town, we have a key.
The key also fits the bathhouse and Sauna
A really nice hot/dry Sauna
Once it got heated up it was wonderful
Looks like we missed ski season
It is raining as we reach Hazleton we are almost to the turnoff
and there it is!
Surprised to see the lowest gas prices since we hit B.C.
Some helpful information. We've been told to get gas when you see it - because the next one may be closed.

Just past the turn onto 37 there are some old totem poles
A few miles down the road there were more
A couple we met at the Fort Telkwa campground that live in the Yukon tell us not to miss Stewart so I guess we're going!
