Junction of Highways 37 & 1 to Whitehorse

Back on the ALCAN Highway

We cross the Continental Divide

Always wondering what's up that next bend

Caribou Butts!

Eventually they leave the road and we get that "What are you looking at - look"

Looks like we are closing in on Teslin - our next overnight area - if they're open . . .

Moose are here

Turns out they are open, they just don't have water and sewer but they have electricity and showers so we stay.

Tucson gets a walk down in the Marsh by the Lake and has a ball.

 
We have dinner at the Restaurant - not bad except those crazy Canadians put brown gravy on my Chicken Cordon Bleu!

The place is nearly empty when we get there but it filled up some as the night went on

As we leave the next morning I see a pull out for Teslin Lake so we pull in to see if we can get a good view.

Tucson says this Lake is useless - it's frozen!

So on the road again

We figure we'll pull over in Whitehorse

But first I must visit Swan Haven

After a long narrow dirt road drive we find a place we can turn around in and Park - it was looking iffy there for a while.  We head down the Beach.

Gary didn't think there would be any here yet - but there were!
