Trip North - Marsh Billings Rockefeller NHP - Hike on Carriage Trails

We head back into Woodstock to visit the Marsh Billings Rockefeller National Historic Park and hike the Carriage trails with Tucson.

We park in the Billings Farm parking lot and take the walkway over.
Tucson stops and says high to some Jersey Cows.

We head over to the Carriage Trails
Tucson is happy he can come along!

I asked if we could ride bikes but it is pedestrian only.  I understand when the trail is uphill 1.5 miles all the way to the Pogue.

There are 20 miles of trails within 550 acres here.

 Tucson gets a drink

Our turn to the Pogue

Almost there
 Water!

We start the loop around the Pogue

 View from the other side

and looking back
We end up down by the Mansion and hope to take a tour but it is an hour before the next one and getting too warm to leave Tucson in the truck.   We are coming back to do the Farmers Market later this afternoon so we sign up for the last tour at 4:00
We take a different route home to pass through the actual town of Quechee

 and find another covered bridge!

We also saw that there is a concert in the Village Green tonight at 6:30.  We plan on going after the Farmers Market and Mansion tour
