Trip North - Carolina Beach

 The next morning, Tucson surveys his kingdom

 

Our friends are tied up in the morning so we head up to  Fort Fisher to check it out

  

 The Beach and Parking are free

 

It think it is $40 to drive on the beach plus you have to drop the tire pressure down to 20-30 lbs.  We opt to park and walk the nature trail to the beach

 

 

 

 

 

Monday the beach isn't crowded at all

The boys take a break while I walk the beach

 

We head back to hook up with our friends. They take us to the North End Beach.  Tucson and I ride in the golf cart with Leslie and Gary  and Ed took the truck with all the beach stuff.

We Park

and find the boys down the beach

A gray day 

 

but still nice to sit on the beach and visit

Tucson made a friend but I didn't get him in the shot

We went to Ed and Leslie's house after for dinner.  Tucson wanted to meet one of their cats in the worst way but she is notorious for beating up on dogs.

Leslie prepared a feast!
