Back to the Lower 48 - Aschcroft to the Border

We leave Ashcroft and head towards Spences Bridge. 

 Winding our way back up

 We follow the Thompson River and the Canadian Northern Pacific Railway

 Then cross over the Thompson River Bridge

There is a lot of train traffic

 Uh Oh

 It' a lovely drive and the weather is much better than when we passed through in May

 We finally find a place to stop for breakfast and it was good!

 Back on the Road and there has been a back up trains for miles

2 minutes to Hell's Gate - think we'll pass

 A delay at Alexandria Bridge due to contruction

 We pass through 7 Tunnels - this is one - I'm going to Yale!  Mom would be so proud

 and then there's Hope we'll make the U.S. today!

 Almost there!

 Another delay as we waited behind this RV for quite awhilebefore they were pulled over to the side by border agents.  Sucks to be them.  We were then able to breeze through!

Back in the U.S.  Next stop Tacoma!
