Shendandoah National Park - Day 3

An early sunrise.  Today is going to be a stay at home day.  Laundry etc.

After the Laundry was in I walked back to the RV to get books to read while waiting for the laundry to be done.  I noticed this Junco gathering nesting material so I stopped and watched.

She was builing a nest inside of some tall grass that had bent over.

Looked like quite the cozy little home.  Although it appeared to be above where the mowing line was - I hoped the babies hatch and leave home before the mowing season.

It was a good thing we got here early on Friday because the campground ended up selling out.  It was an absolutely beautiful weekend, sunny and 70's.  I think people had the itch  to get out and enjoy it
Of course by 2 p.m.  we had the campground to ourselves.

While walking Tucson, I found these flowers someone had left at their site.  No need for them to go to waste!

By afternoon it is fogging over - big storm expected tonight.
