Trip North - Hocking Hills - Whispering Cave

Today we are going to hike to Whispering Cave.  The trail passes by Old Man Cave but we are going to take a different route for most of the hike.

We start out at Upper Falls

 The bridge we saw looking down on our way back yesterday

 and down we go

More bridges to cross

 Gary trains Tucson for an agility course

 Whale Rock

 The really cool cantilever bridge we saw from above yesterday

 Now we are getting to the root of the matter

 A new tunnel - Tucson is an old pro now

It brings us out on the other side of the gorge from Old Man's Cave

 From here it is back up the long stairway

 and past Lower Falls

This time instead of turning Right we go Left so Gary can
follow his roots.

 We have the trail to ourselves

 Time for a break

 I had been told there was a suspension bridge -
guess I don't have to worry about my fear of heights

Timber!

 We start the uphill stretch

 Sweet!

 The trail narrows down

It must be right ahead

 Tucson - Master of Stairs

 The Cave is cavernous!

 The guys stayed at the top of the stairs and I continued down

 Yeah!

He was such a good hike we let him play in the creek
