Trip North - Nova Scotia - Herring Cove Hikes

The 7:30 dog walk today is in Fleming Park again but
today we are starting at the Frog Pond

 as usual the dogs lead

 I just follow Linda and Kathy because I figure they know where they are going.

 of course the dogs do too

 We reach the walkway along the water to the Dingle Tower

Later that Day I take Gary over to the York Redoubt because he likes historic military stuff.

 to show him the big guns

He says he is up for the hike down to the Battery.  Along the way we spot a pilot boat down on the water

and the ship it is piloting

We make it as far as the Battery

 On the way back Gary ducks under a widowmaker

 and back to the Fort

A great place for hiking!
