Cocoa, FL - Cruise Day 2

Everyone can meet in one of the lounging areas on our Deck to check in and see what everyone is up to

It's a "Fun day at Sea".  We check out the decks.

View of the Lido Deck from Deck 12

No land in sight!

The Serenity Deck 15 for over 21.  Unfortunately if you didn't get there early most spots were gone.

View of Deck 12, there is a walking/, jogging path.

Pool and lounge area on Deck 10 aft.

We check out the Marco Polo Plaza.  It's is the general shopping area on 3 decks with a bar in the center.

There was a large group of people with red wigs and mumu's there.   We asked what it was about and they were commemorating Helen Roper the Landlady from There's Company.

We found a duck.  I guess seasoned cruisers bring ducks with them and hide them around the ship for people to find.  Wonder how many end up in jeeps?  Saw online that 1 person found 158 and another 70.  Guess we were lucky to find 1.  Gary gave it to a little kid.

After dinner, We went looking for entertainment.  Found this Trio and they were quite good but finished their set 2 songs after we arrived.

Looked around the corner and found a Steel Drum player.

Time for bed.  Looks inviting!

Our room is ready!

Pat decorated everyone's doors!

A nice sunset!

And it's dinner time!

Our friend Pat got us a table for 18.  Our waitress, Rhea was fantastic.  She's from the Philippines and spends 10 months aboard the ship then gets 2 months to go home and see her 2 year old daughter.  It's such a hard life but she was always smiling and went out of her way to make each night special.  It broke my heart to see people take more food than they could ever eat and leave it, while the staff sacrifices so much to support their families.

As usual Pat went above and beyond to decorate our table

Great food! You can order multiple appetizers, main course and desserts.

Off to a good start!
