We leave Sidney as the waters are rising and start making our way to North Carolina.
It's a roller coaster ride
First stop is Lake Erie State Park. Snagged 2 nights here.
We got a nice site
A walk down to Lake Erie
The park is full of red headed woodpeckers
It's a big lake
We drive back to Dunkirk to check out the Pier
Good thing we didn't go this way with the RV

The Mayor chatting up the local folks
Nice place to sit and relax a spell
There is the Dunkirk Lighthouse
Tucson gets to meet Marmaduke
We head up to Luensmen Overview Park hoping its a bit cooler up there
A hazy view of the lake
and a shady 1/2 mile walk in the woods.
No room here for Saturday so we head just down the road into Ohio to Geneva on the Lake State Park where they had 1 site left for Saturday.
