Our friends purchased a new to them C Class and are going for a 3 night camping trip to break it in, they invite us to join.
It's a nice drive
We arrive at the campground - Mountain River Family Campground
We get a nice creekside spot with shade
A really nice view out the bedroom window
And a not too shabby one out front
There's a nice little hike here
We venture out and stopped for an overlook view
After dinner at Gary and Lucy's we enjoy a fire at our site
We aren't too far from Linville Falls so we head over for a short hike to see the Falls
Across the Linville River
And on to the trail
It started out pretty easy, but I forgot about the stairs
We make it
Time to head back
With a stop for lunch
A great 3 nights, very relaxing!
