Casper, WY -National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center

One of the top attractions in Casper is the Historic Trails Interpretive Center.

Using life-size displays, films and live theater presentations,
the Center tells the story  of Oregon Trail pioneers, explorers, miners
and settlers of the frontier west.

We start out in the ampitheater to watch the film on the Oregon Trail
A different part of the diorama lights up when featured in film

All the displays are very well done, this wagon had a movie in the front with the oxen and ferry man

My favorite
But again, I am easily amused

Outside the walk had stones with quotes from people that took the trail.
This was my favorite

Ran into a couple of handicapped pronghorn on the way out
A great stop - worth spending an extra night in Casper.
