Casper, WY - Rotary Park, Casper Mountain Park and Gravity Hill

From Fort Casper Museum, we head to Rotary Park to see Garden Creek Falls

After a picnic lunch we follow the trail to the Falls

There it is ahead
It is still pretty hot out so we decide to head up to Casper Mountain Park at 8,130 feet - 3,000 feet higher up

There is a good view of Casper from up here.
We find some Deer hanging out in the shade

There wasn't much else to see up here and it isonly a couple degrees
cooler so we head back down to try and find one of Casper's 7 Wonders - Gravity Hill,
It is supposed to be just after the turn off for Rotary Park.  You look for the 1st large green tree on your left, stop, put your car in neutral and it will roll uphill.
We stop at the 1st tree but it is obviously downhill.  A local guy stops and asks if we are looking for Gravity Hill and tells us it is the next tree on the right - we have to be going the other way.  Gary is skeptical but humors me - and then is amazed as we do roll uphill

I am easily amused.

Time to head home and get ready for departure in the morning.  Next Stop Reuter National Forest Campground in Sundance, WY
