We leave Custer and head our next destination- a United States Army Corp of Engineers Campground in Fort Thompson, SD
Going through the main road in the Park we come across another herd of Buffalo
Finally drive by the Game Lodge without a tractor trailer in front
It's about 4 hour drive - filled with Wall Drugstore signs
for a good part of the way
and several fields of sunflowers
We reach the Dam
and then the campground
Nice Sites. Age has it's privileges, with the Senior America the Beautiful Pass the sites are $9/night with 50 amp service. Will stay a week here.
