Casper, WY

Today we move on to Casper, WY
The drive is through the slightly rolling plains
A good place for Triceratops
We arrive in Casper - it's an oil town
We are staying at another Boondockers Welcome site
about 10 miles out of  Downtown Casper.  They provided us with some electric and water.
Out in the country across from some fields lined with Sunflowers and a view of the mountains
 The Goldfinches enjoyed the sunflowers
There was usually a herd of Antelope - the hosts called their spot - where the Antelope roam.  They said there are more antelope than people in Casper.  These guys were practicing head butting
 They also had pretty Butts!
After just relaxing awhile, we headed into town to try and find the walking path along the North Platte River.  We finally found a section with a white water area

A reproduction of a Cable Tool Oil Drilling Rig

Amoco White Water Park is home of the Burt Rea Learning Circle - looks like a Labrinth to me

There were people body surfing in the rapids
Maybe this Osprey thought he'd hit the jackpot

A nice little stretch of the legs - will spend sometime
tomorrow exploring more of Casper
